There are more than 68,000 food insecure individuals in DuPage County, almost half of which do not qualify for government assistance. Please join us in this chip-timed, family-friendly 5K run/walk to feed our hungry neighbors!
Since 1999, Neighborhood Food Pantries has provided food security to our neighbors in need, as well as monetary assistance for housing, utilities, medical care/prescriptions, etc. Funds raised from this 5K event will be used to help us reach our 2018 goal to provide over 2 million meals.
The USATF certified 5k course winds through beautiful Mallard Lake Forest Preserve.
The top 3 overall male and female runners will receive a medal, as will the top runners in each bracket (overall winners are not eligible for age group medals):
70+ 30-39
60-69 20-29
50-59 14-19
40-49 13 & under
Race entry includes: bib, performance fit T-shirt, and a post race snack for all runners!
Register as a team and recruit your friends, colleagues and family members to join you! (all team members receive a $5 registration discount!)
Kids ages 2 - 10 can participate in a 500M "Express Lane Kids Dash" after the race, and the registration fee for ages 6+ includes a T-shirt. The top 3 overall finishers will receive ribbons.

Jump start your day at the next "Bloomingdale Breakfast Club" event--a quarterly program designed to share information about business issues/community affairs AND provide Chamber member businesses with a great networking opportunity.
This month's meeting will take place at one of Bloomingdale's largest employers: NOW Foods. We will meet at the Roselle plant, 1620 Central Ave., for a brief tour of the facility followed by open networking over coffee and breakfast treats.
Celebrating its 50th year in business, NOW Foods offers more that 1,400 dietary supplements, foods, sports nutrition and personal care products. NOW is family-owned and adheres to their original mission: to provide value in products and services that empower people to lead healthier lives. They have been consistently recognized as one of the area's best places to work.

SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to helping small businesses get off the ground, grow and achieve their goals through education and mentoring. For the past 50 years, SCORE has been assisting business owners through their network of volunteer mentors, free business tools and templates, workshops and business counseling.
