The Best of Bloomingdale is a signature event designed to recognize outstanding businesses of the Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce community. We need your help in nominating your favorite businesses throughout Bloomingdale!
These businesses will be recognized at the 2019 Best of Bloomingdale event on Thursday, March 7, 2018 at the Bloomingdale Golf Club from 5:30-8:30 p.m. We hope to see you there!
Rules for Nominations:
- Each nominee must have at least two nominations to be considered. One nomination can be a self-nomination; the second MUST be submitted from outside the business.
- The nominee must be a viable business in good standing and needs to have been established since March of 2018.
- The nominee must be a current member of the Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce. If not a current member, the business will be given the opportunity to join once nominations are received.
- If you would like to make more than one nomination please complete a separate nomination form for each of your nominees.

This award is named for prominent local business woman Georgene Geils (1928-2011), who was a forerunner in the movement of professional women, known for mentoring through her involvement in the community and within her own business. To honor her memory the Bloomingdale Area Women in Business and Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce annually recognize a woman who:
- Strives to empower, embrace and equip women with the knowledge and resources to achieve their personal goals and reach their professional potential.
- Demonstrates excellence, imagination, and initiative in their business or profession.
- Contributes time and energy to improve the quality of life for others in the community.
