| Jan 10 Bloomingdale Breakfast Club ~ NEW PROGRAM ~ January 10, 2018 |
Jump start your day at the new "Bloomingdale Breakfast Club" event, a quarterly program featuring a special topic, great networking, and delicious breakfast treats.
The topic for this Breakfast Club is business safety with a brief presentation from Bloomingdale's own Director of Public Safety, Frank Giammarese.
The results from our recent membership survey showed several things members wanted the Chamber to focus on in 2018. In response to this feedback, we are launching the “Bloomingdale Breakfast Club,” a quarterly program designed to share information about community affairs and business issues while providing marketing and networking opportunities.
The program will begin with registration and Chick-fil-A will be providing breakfast refreshments. Frank Giammarese will kick off the program discussing crime prevention. After taking any questions, Chamber staff will share upcoming events and announcements. Lastly, we will have time for everyone to introduce themselves and let the networking begin. Please remember to bring plenty of business cards. We hope to see you there bright and early!

The Second Wednesday of EVERY Month, in association with the Village of Bloomingdale, SCORE will be offering FREE Mentoring to small area businesses and to those who would like to start their own business!
SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to helping small businesses get off the ground, grow and achieve their goals through education and mentoring. For the past 50 years, SCORE has been assisting business owners through their network of volunteer mentors, free business tools and templates, workshops and business counseling. SCORE mentors will be available for one-on-one business counseling here at the Chamber office.

The Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Lagers and Leaders, a community leadership program which presents monthly events featuring an educational video followed by discussion and networking while sampling the finest lagers of local craft breweries.
This month, we will watch an incredible video from Jim Collins who is a student and teacher of what makes great companies tick.
