The Best of Bloomingdale 2017 is a new signature event designed to recognize outstanding members of the business community and for this year, celebrate the Bloomingdale Chamber's 35th Anniversary.
This event reaches beyond the chamber and into the community, requesting nominations and incorporating a voting component to augment judging in the selection process. The Best of Bloomingdale culminates with an award dinner to recognize the winners. Recognition of nominees and award recipients will continue throughout the year. This premier event will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017, at The Medinah Shrine Center from 5:30-8:30pm.

Join us as Bloomingdale Mayor Franco Coladipietro gives an update on the State of the Village.
The Mayor will share information about new developments and changes happening in and around Bloomingdale.
Franco A. Coladipietro is a partner with the law firm of Amari & Locallo. He practices exclusively in the area of property tax assessment matters on a nationwide basis. His representative client base includes national REITs, property management firms and commercial and industrial property owners. Mr. Coladipietro was elected to three terms in the Illinois House of Representatives and served as the minority spokesman for the Financial Institutions Committee and as a member of the Legislative Ethics Commission. Franco currently serves as the Village President in Bloomingdale, Illinois.
* We will be providing bags, one for each attendee, so that you will have the opportunity to share your business cards, flyers, etc with EVERYONE! Plan to arrive by 11:15 am to allow ample time to fill the bags.

Please join us on Wednesday, April 26, for networking with fellow businesswomen as we hear from speaker, Jane Murtaugh, Professor of Business & Management at College of DuPage. Prof. Murtaugh will present "Lead Like a Girl: Empowering Women to Succeed" and cover topics such as gender diversity and stereotypes, building a network of women in the workplace, and the importance of mentoring.
We will also present the Bloomingdale Area Women in Business scholarship to the 2017 recipient. Thank you to the generosity of AMITA Health and Wintrust Wealth Management for providing funds for this award.
Lunch will include cream of potato soup and your choice of one of the following: Beef Kabobs, Bloomingdale Salad with Salmon or Chicken Kabobs. |
