2019 BAWIB Scholarship Application
The Bloomingdale Area Women in Business will award one $1,000 scholarship to a woman who is looking to improve herself professionally by such means as continued education or professional development with the goal of furthering her knowledge and expertise.
Applicants must be:
- Affiliated residentially or commercially with the Bloomingdale area.
Scholarships must be used within the first year of being awarded. The scholarship will be awarded at the BAWIB breakfast on Friday, May 10, 2019.
A committee from the general membership of BAWIB will evaluate applications based on the established criteria. Recommendations from this committee will be tabulated to determine the winners.
This scholarship is based on:
- Personal Investment in education and career progression
- Community Involvement, including volunteer or employment positions
- Industry Involvement, including networking and committee positions
- Potential Interview to discuss professional development plans
